Our Story UMT Holdings
UMT Holdings (UMTH) was incorporated on 8 November 2009 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), a public university established under the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971.
The incorporation of UMTH serves as the University's commercial arm, established to achieve long-term financial sustainability through the optimization and monetization of the University's assets, expertise, and other resources.
Currently, UMTH is involved in three main sectors: Education and Training, Research and Consultancy Services, and the Commercialization of UMT's Intellectual Property (IP). Moving forward, UMTH remains committed to exploring potential opportunities through strategic collaborations with government agencies and industry partners who share the vision of creating value for our shareholder and stakeholders.
To accomplish our long-term goals, continuous efforts are being undertaken, including strengthening our corporate structure and enhancing our business strategies.
